Since 1985, Ken Tessier has served in a role of customer support, from providing pharmacy service to being a firefighter and now working as a mortgage specialist with MortgageGuys.com. For decades, Ken has learned a vast number of skills that he now uses to assist individuals who are looking to purchase property.
From September 1997 until June of 2000, Ken worked as a firefighter in Mississauga. He then moved to Guelph and has worked as a firefighter for the community for more than 16 years. At the same time, Ken worked as a certified pharmacy technician at Zehrs Markets, having served the public as a pharmacy tech for just over 28 years. The skills and service experience that Ken acquired in his years of customer service now come in handy with his role as a Mortgage Agent with MortgageGuys.com.
In 2005, Ken earned a degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Fanshawe College. Ken would spend two years in the Engineering field. It would be at the time when Ken purchased his childhood dream home that he would become interested in the mortgage industry. Ken bought the home in 2004 in Guelph, a 150 year old stone 4 plex.
Ken found that he enjoyed purchasing the home and remodeling the dwelling, so much so that in a three year time frame, he had purchased three more rental properties. All of the mortgages of the properties were arranged by a mortgage agent which gave Ken the drive to become an agent himself.
After going through the process of a mortgage several times and seeing how it works, Ken began to consider a career of his own. Since becoming an agent, Ken has found that he loves helping his clients, no matter what their mortgage need. He has experience in assisting with new mortgages, refinancing, investment properties and more.

Since 2014, Ken has worked as a mortgage agent in the Guelph area, which is where he was born and raised. Ken lives in Guelph and enjoys assisting locals as well as newbies to the area with all mortgage needs. In his spare time, Ken enjoys spending time with his wife as well as two daughters. Activities Ken enjoys includes playing baseball, tennis and curling.
Ken also likes to devote time to charities and the community. During his time off, Ken can be found supporting local charities as well as coaching several sports in Guelph.
