Debbie Miller didn’t start out in the mortgage industry with the intent of creating a permanent career there. Debbie’s foray into the industry began with a temporary position that was supposed to last only two weeks but instead was the beginning of a truly satisfying career. Debbie has worked in the banking industry since her early teenage years and the skills she learned have now carried over into her successful career in the mortgage industry.
For more than twenty years, Debbie has worked for various lenders and earned several awards for her efforts in the industry. She has earned awards based on her excellent work ethic as well as qualities as a leader. Debbie has gained a great deal of knowledge over the years, having gained experience in all areas of mortgage lending in regards to the mortgage life cycle including customer service, portfolio management, renewal retention, documentation and underwriting.
In the past, Debbie held the position as a supervisor in a high producing office that ensured customer service was a top priority. For the past ten years, Debbie has been able to consistently fund more than $80 million in mortgage volume. The amount that she has been able to process year after year shows that Debbie knows how to find the right mortgage to satisfy customer needs.
Because of her drive to provide quality customer service and be more involved with the consumer, Debbie decided to move the broker channel for a more personal touch. To be able to do this, she obtained her Agent’s license in 2008 and then worked to receive her Broker license in 2016. Debbie found that being able to see her customers happy in their new home as well as meeting their financial needs was a truly gratifying experience. Debbie uses her quick and strong analytical skills to provide the best solution for every client’s needs when it comes to mortgage lending. Having such licensing allowed Debbie to be able to provide more for her clients and helping others is what Debbie does best.
Debbie now works for MortgageGuys.com in the position as the Senior Underwriter. She also works with the lenders and agents of the company to find the best financial solution for every client. Customers quickly find out that they can trust Debbie to stay in budget and find the best mortgage option for their financial needs. Debbie uses the skills she has learned over the years along with listening to the customer to be able to find the best path to take for mortgage success.
In her personal time, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family. On her off days, Debbie can be found enjoying the great outdoors at her trailer. Outdoor activities that Debbie always enjoys includes gardening, kayaking and horseshoes.
